Spending Money & Valuables

SPENDING MONEY

We recommend that your child brings a small amount of spending money for souvenirs, snacks and shopping.

Children staying for more than a week will go on at least two excursions, and will also enjoy a programme of evening entertainment, which may be off site for older children.

We have a Tuck Shop at each camp which will be open for one hour each evening so that students can buy some snacks and drinks.

Below is a guide as to how much pocket money you might want to give to your child.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL SPENDING MONEY IS IN BRITISH POUNDS STERLING AS THERE ARE NO EXCHANGE FACILITIES AVAILABLE.

Pocket Money Guide

VALUABLES

All passports, tickets and pocket money will be kept by the Centre Manager or Administrator for safe keeping and will be available daily between 17.00 and 18.00 from the office.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND VALUABLE ITEMS

Your child might want to bring valuable items to Camp such as iPods, cameras, mobile phones, etc.  We recommend that they had them in to the Centre Manager or Administrator upon arrival for safe-keeping.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

We recommend that musicians bring with them their own fully insured instruments unless hiring from Exsportise.

EXSPORTISE INSURANCE

The Exsportise insurance policy covers one item to the value of £200 only.  Should you require value in excess of £200 or have more than one item you wish to cover, you may need to arrange some additional insurance.
