RESIDENTIAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES FOR 9 - 17 YEAR OLDS - SINCE 1988

Medical Facilities and Arrangements

All camps have two on site Medical Officers, a Medical/Treatment Room, multiple trained First Aiders and are within easy reach of excellent hospitals.

ON SITE MEDICAL CARE

Medical Officers and trained First Aiders will give students common non-prescription medicines such as paracetamol unless you advise us in writing not to do so.

Each centre is near to a general medical practice and appointments with doctors can be made if necessary.

PRE-PRESCRIBED MEDICATION

If your child needs to bring any medication with them, please give us full information about dosage, time to take the medication and storage information.

Each centre has a Medical Room where your child can go to take their medicine under supervision if they feel unwell at any time during their stay.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

It is important that we receive accurate information about any pre-existing medical conditions your child may have.  Please note that Exsportise accepts students on the assumption that they are in good health.

ALL MEDICINES MUST BE HANDED IN TO THE MEDICAL ROOM FOR SAFE AND CORRECT STORAGE.

EUROPEAN HEALTH INSURANCE CARD

If you live in a country that is part of the European Union, please make sure that your child comes to camp with a European Health Insurance Card (E111).  This will ensure that they can be seen by a UK doctor at no cost and without delay.

Please note that the cover provided by this card is very limited (dental treatment is not included) and is no substitute for travel insurance.
